A video posted to social media by the president’s eldest son shows the international crime family masquerading as a government gleefully tuning in to the storming of the nation’s capitol last Wednesday. The fruit of their efforts, if you will. As they watched from the comfort of their bunker with dozens of big screen televisions, hors d’oeuvres being served and probably some tune they think expresses patriotism, but doesn’t. Junior’s vacuous wife could be seen doing a little jig.
It reminded me of what happened during the First Battle of Manassas in 1860 when picnic goers from Washington, D.C. rode out to the battleground to cheer on their side while laying stretched out on blankets sipping fine wines and twirling their parasols. It wasn’t long before the battle came to them.
Of course, while the crime family awaited the results of their insurrection tea party, members of Congress - of both parties - were trapped in a building surrounded by lunatics, fanatics and American jihadists. Call it what you will, but the president’s steady drumbeat of lies, untruths and fantastical grievances has created a subset of Americans I call ‘White ISIS’. Quite a few of those Congressional members feared for their lives on January 6th, 2021.
The ones who did not appear to be fearful - strangely - were all Republicans. Except Mike Pence. The criminal trespassers wanted him hung, yelled it loudly and even had constructed a rickety gallows on the grounds surrounding the Capitol Building.
Other stories slowly leaking out about January 6th, 2021:
While the Capitol Building was under siege, our president did not lift a finger to call in reinforcements to protect the rule of law but he did spend the time lobbying members of Congress to not certify the Electoral College votes. Can you imagine that? I can. It sounds like every mob boss I’ve ever seen depicted on commercial television. This president takes all of his cues from what he sees on television. And Michael Cohen has told us his former employer views himself as a mob boss.
You know he can’t help himself. Doubling down is in his DNA. There is no amount of doubling down to which he won’t stoop.
Apparently the Massachusetts delegation’s offices - of which one is a member of “The Squad”, Ayanna Pressley - had their “panic” buttons forcefully removed during the occupation. Combine this knowledge with the men wearing tactical gear, at least one a military veteran, and carrying flex cuffs, mace and tasers and it has to give you pause.
A Congressional member from New Jersey put out a video describing how other Congress members like QAnon adherent and Second Amendment enthusiast, Lauren Boebert (CO-R), gave tours of the Capitol Building’s rabbit warren of offices the day before to insurrectionists who breached the barriers and entered the building the next day. Congressional witnesses to the coup said they were taken aback by the ease at which the intruders located obscure unmarked offices of high-ranking Democrats. There is a ‘group photo’ of freshman Congresswoman Lauren Boebert’s constituents, along with the Congresswoman herself, who were given the red carpet treatment. If you don’t know, Lauren Boebert is the logical, political evolutionary step from Sarah Palin.
Remember the old song with the words, “The revolution will not be televised”?
This was the opposite of that. People cannot resist sharing on social media - confessions, video evidence, photos, declarations, threats, rambling texts. If anything, the FBI is likely to be overwhelmed with the staggering amounts of documentation.
What happened on January 6th, no matter how it gets wrapped in word salads and pretzel logic, was a coup. The fact that it failed is immaterial. The only reason it wasn’t a bloodbath was that most of the participants were LARPers and people who couldn’t find a date for prom. Just because they were inept, unlucky and poorly organized makes the whole affair no less damning for those who cheered them on.
It was the violent attempt to cancel the results of a free and fair election, throw our democracy into chaos and capture, harm and kill members of Congress. What saved us - besides some members of the Capitol Hill police and others - was that it was undertaken by true believing idiots rather than cold-blooded, stone cold killers. It was the violent equivalent of the Laurel and Hardy group of lawyers that lost more than 60 court cases filed over the past two months for supposed voter fraud.
One of those lawyers, in case you hadn’t heard, who has the ear of the mob boss who would be president for life. . .if we let him, advocated for the execution of the vice president by firing squad.

Yay! He’s been impeached. Again. For an unprecedented two times in four years. I can’t find the information but he may be the first president to be impeached for “incitement of insurrection”. Another unprecedented occurrence. So much winning.
Here is part of what one of Washington’s more conservative House representatives had to say before she voted to impeach the president.
In a lengthy statement the night before the vote, Jaime Herrera Beutler said the president “incited a riot aiming to halt the peaceful transfer of power from one administration to the next.”
“That led to five deaths. People everywhere watched in disbelief as the center of American democracy was assaulted,” the six-term congresswoman wrote. “The violent mob bludgeoned to death a Capitol police officer as they defaced symbols of our freedom. These terrorists roamed the Capitol, hunting the Vice President and the Speaker of the House.”
If you are fearful of the days that lie ahead - as I am - this article MIGHT set your mind at ease about the inauguration. I think it should be done remotely but others think we are capitulating to the terrorists (White ISIS) if we do so. This author says that the real Deep State will not be caught unaware this time around.
