We are long overdue in redefining or reframing patriotism, and you just gave us a jump start. I think of love of country like love of family: we don't need to demean or destroy other families (countries) to demonstrate our love for our own. And, when all families are healthy, my family is healthier. Sadly, the term patriot has been hijacked over the last 50 years by those who represent the worst of us. Thanks for reminding us of what it could and should be.

I have been seriously thinking about a flag pole with an American flag and an Any Functioning Adult flag. Or Biden/Harris.
And an earth flag. Need a tall flagpole. Or a really big truck.
